Bolivia la Paz

Nuestra Señora de La Paz is a city and municipality in western Bolivia , capital of the department of La Paz, the administrative capital and seat of the Bolivian government and the Legislative and Executive Powers and , although the capital according to the State Constitution is Sucre.

Most of these neighborhoods were created by internal migration that occurred in the late 60s and early 70s ( last years of the Bolivian dictatorship ) . This made ​​many rural people migrated to the city looking for a better future and so they settled around the city of La Paz and creating the suburbs . Today, many of them are within the " Truth Barrios " program holding the municipal government to improve the physical conditions and improve the quality of life of its inhabitants. It can be said that La Paz is a multicultural city where both coexist Aymara , Quechua and mestizo , as people from other parts of the world.
